Jared Davis is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and an Investment Advisor Representative. Founder of Davis Wealth Management, his main desire is help our clients in all aspects of Comprehensive Financial Planning. He strives to understand his clients financial goals and aspirations, while assisting them to implement a plan that will help to provide financial stability, and monitoring their portfolio to match their lifestyle and the ever changing economy.
Jared grew up in South Florida and was the middle child of five children. His parents taught him the importance of education, hard work, being active in his faith and community. At age 19, he served a 2 year Mission for his church in Lima, Peru and thoroughly enjoyed serving the people there. He felt a strong connection to the culture and language. He also learned to build trusted relationships and serve others in need. After returning home from his mission, he attended Brigham Young University and graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
While attending BYU, Jared met his wife Marie and they were married in 2006. Jared and Marie then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he worked as an Electrical Engineer. He still maintains his Professional Engineering license. While pursing his engineering career, Jared went back to school and received his MBA (Masters in Business Administration). Upon completion of his MBA, Jared decided to change his career path and entered the world of finance, moving his family to California and working side by side veteran financial advisor to gain knowledge and experience. After gaining important experience and acquiring different credentials in this industry, Jared decided to start his own practice. With a love for the outdoors and and desire for a great place to raise his family, he decided to relocate his family to Meridian, Idaho.
Jared is currently licensed as an Investment Advisor Representative. In 2011, Jared decided he wanted to assist his clients in the best possible way, hence he returned back to school and earned a Certificate in Financial Planning at Florida State University in preparation to take the CFP exam. In July 2012, he took the very difficult CFP exam and passed. As a Certified Financial Planner, he must act as true fiduciary which means to always act in the best interest of the client. His engineering, business, and financial background makes him very knowledgeable and helps him relate to different industries.
In his free time, Jared loves spending time with his wife and four children. He coaches his kids soccer teams, where you can find him many Saturday's. His hobbies include sports, home projects, gardening, exercising, and traveling.
Fiduciary duty extends solely to investment advisory advice and does not extend to other activities such as insurance or broker dealer services. Advisory clients are charged a quarterly fee for assets under management while insurance products pay a commission, which may result in a conflict of interest regarding compensation.
